Concept/Idea Phase

Alde Akva AS can assist customers with developing a feasibility study based on the their needs. In this phase, we contribute to illuminate the potential of your idea. We provide sufficient groundwork to make an assessment on whether the concept should be pursued further or not. This includes overall assesments of spatial and area planning, risk, technical possibilities, and sketches (3D modeling). We have extensive experience with contributing in the concept phase and preparing for the next phase – the preliminary project.

Preliminary project

Once a solution has been agreed upon during the preliminary design phase, we can bring this foundation into the detailed design phase. Here, the technical solutions are fully developed based on accurate calculations and comprehensive specifications. Upon completion, the detailed design should serve as a reliable working basis for the execution phase. It is therefore essential that the level of detail is thorough and sufficient.

Detailed design

Once a solution has been agreed upon during the preliminary design phase, we can carry that foundation into the detailed design phase. In this phase, the technical solutions are fully developed based on precise calculations and specifications. When the detailed design is complete, the material should be suitable for use as a working basis and carried into the execution phase. Therefore, it is important that the level of detail is sufficient.

It is important to ensure strong interdisciplinary competence and coordination, as this phase is characterized by the involvement of multiple disciplines working together to develop the working documentation. Alde Akva has solid experience with design and project coordination during the detailed design phase.

Execution

After the detailed design phase and preparation of the working documentation, Alde Akva can contribute as project manager, technical lead, and BIM coordinator in the subsequent stages. We have solid experience acting as a link between designers, project owners, and contractors. We can also provide advisory services and/or act as a sparring partner in this phase where desired.

Operation

During the operational phase, we can contribute as advisors and collaborative partners. This could involve addressing issues related to optimizing operation, NS 9416 compliance or expansion/modification of existing concepts. See below for other services we offer.

Our team brings extensive experience, encompassing the preparation of escape technical reports to ensure that design and operations comply with NS 9416 standards.
